Fred Stanford, PEng Director, President & CEO Mr. Stanford is a highly qualified mining executive with 28+ years experience in the mining industry. Mr. Stanford started his career at Inco Limited in 1981 as a software designer and then moved into operations management as an underground mine foreman. He progressed through increasingly senior roles in mines operations, processing plant operations, engineering, EHS, human resources, and production services operations. In 2006 he was appointed to the role of President of Vale Inco's Ontario Operations, a position he held until June of 2009. There are many milestones in a 28 year career, two that stand out for Mr. Stanford are an 80% reduction in injuries while he was Manager of EHS in the Manitoba Operations, and, while he was President, a production record in Ontario that was 15% above the previous record. Mr. Stanford graduated in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University of Nova Scotia. He served on the Board of Laurentian University, where he currently acts as Executive in Residence, and is a member of the Board of Cambrian College and of the Northern Centre for Advanced Technology (NORCAT), a non profit commercial incubator. |

Andrew Gottwald, CA Chief Financial Officer Mr. Gottwald is a Chartered Accountant with over fifteen years' experience in the financial services industry, including senior management positions with Homeland Energy Group and Tahera Diamond Corporation. Prior to joining Tahera Diamond Corporation as Controller in 2000, Mr. Gottwald was a financial analyst with Arthur Andersen LLP. He was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2001 and Executive Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer in 2007. Mr. Gottwald managed the transition of Tahera's Jericho diamond mine from its exploration stage through development and into commercial production, negotiated and completed 16 equity and two debt financings totalling over $220 million and developed and implemented accounting, reporting and procedural systems appropriate for the growth of the company and the ongoing regulatory and accounting changes. Mr. Gottwald holds a degree in Statistical Sciences from the University of Western Ontario and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. |

Jason Simpson, PEng. Chief Operating Officer Mr. Simpson is a mining executive with over 17 years of operational and mining experience. Starting with Inco Limited in 1995, he held roles in ventilation, ground control, geology, and surveying. To gain a global multi-commodity perspective, he spent four years with McIntosh Redpath Engineering on mining studies for companies including: CVRD, Rio Tinto, Barrick, Freeport McMoran, and Falconbridge among others. After re-joining Vale, Mr. Simpson spent ten years gaining operational and engineering experience. He has held positions of increasing responsibility up to his most recent role as the General Manager Labrador Operations for Vale. Mr. Simpson holds dual degrees: in Mining Engineering from the Technical University of Nova Scotia and in Physics from Dalhousie University. |

Alejandro Kakarieka Vice-President Exploration Mr. Kakarieka is an experienced exploration geologist who has held several senior roles in the mining industry throughout his twenty seven-year career, focusing on base and precious metal exploration, project generation and business development, mainly in Latin America. Mr. Kakarieka's professional experience includes conducting technical and financial evaluations of mining assets and negotiation of potential new exploration and development opportunities in South America. He has previously been involved with exploration, development and producing gold companies, including most recently IAMGOLD Corporation where he held senior exploration roles, including most recently Exploration Manager and Country Manager for Colombia and Breakwater Resources where he served as Exploration Manager Latin America. Mr. Kakarieka is a member of the Society of Economic Geologists (SEG), the Geological Society of America (GSA) and the Association of Applied Geochemists (AAG) and is fully-bilingual in Spanish. |

Gabriela Sanchez, MBA Vice President Investor Relations Gabriela Sanchez is a senior investor relations and marketing professional with over 25 years experience, 10 of them at senior management level and primarily within the gold mining sector where she has been instrumental in raising the profiles of emerging gold mining companies within the analyst and investment communities. Before 2004, Ms. Sanchez was part of the management team that brought Goldcorp from a market value of $50 million to $3 billion in four years. Dawson Proudfoot Vice President Engineering Mr. Proudfoot is a highly skilled mining engineer with 25 years experience in the hard rock mining industry. His experience spans across a number of aspects of the industry from mine development, equipment supply to operational and engineering roles. Prior to joining Torex, Dawson was with Xstrata Nickel, Sudbury Operations, which he joined in 1989 as a Planning Engineer. During his tenure with the company Dawson held various position of increasing authority, his most recent role as Engineering Superintendent for Sudbury Operations. During his career Mr. Proudfoot developed expertise in mine design (concept through to operation), mine infrastructure, and leadership and staffing of technical team. Mr. Proudfoot graduated from Queen's University, Kingston Ontario in 1985 with a degree in Bachelor of Applied Science Mining and obtained his Professional Engineering designation in 1988. Dawson obtained his Project Management Professional designation in 2006 and also holds the designation of a Black Belt - Six Sigma. |
